Get on with it ALREADY!!!

Yeah so, I made my consult appt for sept 1, its a 5.5 hr drive to Michigan from here and includes having to cross ta border. My Hubby was a bad bad boy in earlier days and has a record(after 911 you need a passport to cross ta border) chances are even with a passport he will not be allowed to cross with me! This scares me to death as he is the ONLY person on earth who has ligitematly loved and supported me in my life. Here lies the delima...... I am on a weight list to have the surgery here in Toronto but it is a LONG wait! Or i can go to U S without hubby and have surgery probably within 2 months. Since making the decision to have the surgery I feel as if my life has been put on hold, to begin again after I have had my surgery.
