Dear Vikki...........please don't worry about the NG tube. The doctor usually has it put in after you are asleep and has it taken out before you wake. Sometimes it's taken out after you wake up. Mine was still in when I woke up. It felt like I had the biggest buger in the world in my right nostril. I asked what it was and the nurse heard me and pulled it out. It was a little uncomfy but didn't hurt at all. Just felt weird coming out. NG tubes are nothing to worry about for WLS. I heard we can't have them after an RNY though. I hope I helped you not be afraid of an NG tube even though my description was a little graphic.

Hey Lady, it want be long now before you become as fine as me. You are going to look and feel wonderful. My only regret is that I did not have surgery sooner. I will be going in for another check-up on 8/15/02 and I will know how much more weight I have lost, cause I stay away from the scale. As of May 15 I had lost a total of 107 pounds and I am trying to lose 60-65 more and I should be a perfect 14. My vacation was great and hopefully we will take a longer cruise next year. I was not sea sick like I thought I would be. Well congratulations on 8/13/02 and I wish you a very speedy recovery and an uncomplicated surgery. Girlfriend, we and all the others that have had wls are true soldiers. Stay strong and I will be checking on you. You have my number if you need anything while your Hubby is at work. Love Ya, Wanda
