One Year Anniversary

Well, yesterday was the one year anniversary of my RNY.  I'm down a total of 110 pounds.  I feel better than I have in years.  I can do a flight of stairs without huffing and puffing!  The decision to have surgery was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life.

I cried the other day in the fitting room of a store.  I went in because I needed jeans - everything I had was once again falling off of me.  I put on a pair of size 8 pants.  I cried - actually sobbed in the fitting room.  The last time I remember putting on a pair of size 8 pants, I was in fifth grade - 20 years ago!

I feel healthy and good about myself and wouldn't change my decision if you paid me!
