I'm a young full of life 24yr old from the MS Gulf Coast. That like to dance, drive, meet new people, go to funny/romantic movies. My passion is music especially Hip/Hop and R&B and I have the desire to travel.. (Wow this sounds like a dating ad). I am currently researching WLS looking for a wonderful surgeon and staff and hopefully an angel or two to pray for me along the way. I'd love to hear personal WLS stories from start to finish. Wow I have a new lease on life.. Thanks to Hurricane Katrina I am now in Germantown/Memphis, TN and i'm in search of a surgeon/primary care physian. I found out today my new insurance thanks to my new job will possible cover the procedure. I'm so excited. So im criss crossing between the Gulf Coast of MS and Tennessee. I will keep ya posted.

I've gotton my appointment to meet with Dr. Mudan and his group of folks on 1/13/05. They give me a huge list of packets and information to fill out.. the end results are when they send all of this to the insurance company they will push a united front for approval. It's been a headache and a half trying to track down all of my medical records. Thanks to Hurricane Katrina thats almost nearly impossible to find URGH!!! But i'm going to push forward and see what happens. I met with me new PCP Monday and she was pretty nice had to give 5 viles of blood and urinate in a cup.. I hope after all of that probing they find out what ever it is they need to find out about. Well i'll update more after the first initial visit.

Well on yesterday I finished my first initial consult visit with Dr. Mudan's office. I arrived at 11:56 waiting for my 12pm appointment. I noticed that while I was waiting another lady arrived a little late but what was strange was that they didn't come and call me back yet. So as I was waiting I heard a lady teaching in the backroom. I went to the front desk and asked the lady what the deal was and she said with an attitude thats for our new members.. and I was like yeah thats what i'm here for. She said well a lady came back and got all the new members. Well either way we wont waste anymore time talking about here. I got everything done in one day I had my Nutritional Evaluation, Psch Evaluation, etc done so a letter can be sent to Atena. The test I have to have completed is EKG, Chest X-Ray, Medical Clearnace for Surgery written by my PCP, EGD done later on and an Echocardiogram, and Sleep Study. Eeek on the sleep study I heard that can be really expensive. Oh boy so here we go i'm on my way! By the way its shocking I actully lost 10lbs this week.
