"The bariatric floor is excellent. The staff went above and beyond, especially the social worker who combed the whole hospital for protein stuff for me. The ER though is a different story. They put me in a room back in the corner where I was out of ear shot, never gave me a call button and then started a potassium i.v. (which is very painful) and just left without telling me it was going to hurt. I sat there crying for help for over an hour and nobody came. I was dog sick and they were very careless from the start. They told me to go to room 16 and someone would be right with me. The room was dark. The lightswitch turned out to be outside in the hall. There was no pillow, nothing and it was awhile before anyone came in. That's pretty much how the whole ER experience went. I expected it to be much different after having been treated so well as an in-patient."

"His credentials are good. His office manner is great. His reputation is the main reason I picked him. He really doesn't look old enough to have the years of experience he has. Maybe I'm just getting older. He was pretty up-front about problems he has dealt with. His staff seems to be over-busy maybe? It seems to be a large practice with a lot going on. Will be able to give a more informed opinion after my surgery. "
