Whoever says this is the easy way out is out of their friggin mind!!! Between the depression and my inability so far to keep solid protein down, it hasn't been fun. I am exremely grateful, don't get me wrong; but if I hear the word "easy"- it's gonna get ugly FAST!!!!

It finally happened! I unfortunately had to get ugly with my insurance, who basically wanted me to be on deaths door to approve me, but I was finally approved!!! After fighting for almost a year I'm nervous now. I guess I'm afraid of failure. I always start off with the best of intentions, but ....
I really feel this tool will help me keep on track- that, and every support meeting I can get to!
It has been a difficult few years, but I feel thet I'm finally making myself one of my many priorities and I'm determined to make this a new begining for me. Wishing all of you (and myself ) the best of luck and determination!

Hello all,
Like many of you, I have struggled wirth my weight my whole life. I have been progressivly gaining weight thoughout the years, although I have had considerable gain in the past year or so.
When I finally had enough, I reached 330 lbs. and found myself unable to play with my boys or have the energy to do much of anything. Enough!!!
I've begun the process of getting a lap-band and I am looking foward to begining the journey.( I'm still in te thows of dealing with the insurance company)
I'll let you know when I have a date.
