I've been overweight for as long as I can remember. I'm 32 years old, married, with a 2yr old daughter. Over the years, I've tried every fad diet, every diet pill..adipex, xenical, meridia, formula 1...NONE of them worked *surprise*. I suppose my trip to morbid obesity is contributed to several things...mostly my lack of cooking skills that had me visiting virtually every fastfood restaurant within a 20 mile radius, stress, and all of these medications backfiring on me. I've decided to have this surgery so I can provide my daughter with a better quality of life. As it stands, I can't walk to my car without gasping for breath or needing to take a break. I can't take her to the park, I can't do anything with her because I'M overweight. I want her to have a mom that can do things with her, run around in the yard. At this stage in life, nothing else matters.
