January 1st-27 days to go!

I woke up this morning still in disbelief that my surgery is in 27 days.   January 28th will be a new beginning for me.  As I look at the before and after pictures of people who have already had surgery, I just can't imagine being thin.   I have always wanted to be that girl that people say is little, or cute.   The only regret I have is that I didn't do this sooner.   I will be at my goal weight before my 40th birthday, and that is an awesome feeling.   40 is the new 30 right??  I look at my pictures now and can't fathom feeling pretty, or not being disgusted when I look in the mirrors, or see my image as I walk past a window.   This site has been an amazing source of encouragement and am very excited to continue this journey with everyone here.
