Coming up on Year!

Well this year has flown by in blink of an eye!  I had not really pictured myself at this point that I would arrive here after my surgery. I am very glad that I made the choice to do it. I am very glad that Dr. Searles accepted me as a patient. My family, doctor and this website have been very great in supporting me on this journey.

I have my energy to play with my kids outside and work. I am currently going back to school and actually keeping up. I am no longer feeling like I cannot do things because of my weight restrictions on my whole body as well as my legs giving out. I am no longer sensitive by being ashamed to go out in public with my kids and feel like everyone is looking at me for my size. I am also feeling better about walking into restaurants with my family and sitting down to eat.

I do have a few drawbacks since the surgery. I had to have my gallbladder taken out in Jan. because I had developed multiple gallstones. I am finding it hard to keep my iron and potassium level up. I am open to any suggestion in that department.
