It's been 17 years since I've had RNY gastric bypass surgery. I originally lost 120 lbs. But within the last 5 years, my weight is starting to creep back up. Stress, work and family, has been a major part of my weight gain, as well as having serious lower back issues. I've tried several weight loss programs and plans, and even a pouch reset, but being consistent is my biggest concern. I'll start, get a result, then I'm off the wagon again.
But, I'm leaving my job and have made plans to try again with a personal trainer......
Understand that within the 17yrs, while my pouch may have stretched out a bit larger, I am still unable to overeat and do experience "dumping" when I do. This is still a mechanism that works to my advantage. But I would need to eat the right foods, I know, to succeed.
So on the last day in the last month of 2022, I am writing to get my thoughts down......
Accountability (my own) is an issue too, but I'm going to work on this too, in 2023.
Thanks for reading ??
Stay tuned.......
