 Last November when I joined I had hopes to be having my surgery in March or April. It is May and still haven't gotten all of my approvals. I had a health setback. My cardiologist signed off for my surgery last month. This month I have another lung test to get approved my pulmonoligist. I can't approval from my primary until pumonary signs off first. Then I will see the psychologist. trouble with these tasks now is that my book tour begins in two weeks. my next novel goes national end of june. i'm afraid i will delay these surgery more and I need to do it. my cardiologist has told me that i will be hospitalized for a week after the surgery i have maybe one week this summer where i can do that, but my daughter will be out of school... i can't let anymore obstacles push my dates back. i need some encouragement.

 Hi, I'm Dee. 

Yesterday was my first visit with Dr. Rashid, my bariatric surgeon. I'm still very nervous. But she made me feel very at ease and okay with my decision to seek this surgery. 

I hope I gain some friends here who can guide me through this, share some times, and give me encouragement.
