9-8-10 So I had my first dream about the surgery last night.  I was in the hospital after surgery and not in any pain.  I am taking this as a sign that because so many of my waking moments are occupied thinking about the surgery that now it has crept into my dreams too.  Plus, the no pain part is encouraging.  We'll see about that...

9-6-10 After a few months of cyber-stalking this site, I decided to join.  Obesityhelp.com was included in a list of resources from my nutritionist and I have to say it has been the most helpful site I have found.  I am slightly obsessed with the before and after pictures, and I appreciate all the posts with questions and feedback.  I know this will be a great resource and support for me when I have the surgery.  I am getting close to the end of the approval process with my insurance.  A week from Thursday is my final appointment with my nutritionist before I learn whether I have been approved.  This is a process I started last April so I am looking forward to the end- or the beginning depending on how you look at it!  Keep your fingers crossed for me.
