I had the gastric sleeve surgery on November 30, 2011 in TiJuana Mexico with Dr. Almanza.  I weighed 280 at the time of my surgery and have lost a total of 40 pounds so far.   I went from a size 24/22 in pants to a 18.  I also went from a 3x shirt to a 2x.  I thought I was doing good and I guess I have got comfortable with the size I am now so I feel that the weight loss has slowed down I was losing 10 to 5 pounds a week now I am only losing 2 and I am almost six weeks out.  I just hope it does not stop until I get at least 165.
