HI!!!!!! Well, I am almost 9 months post - op and I have lost 89 pounds. I feel wonderful! I am wearing a size 16 pants and a large shirt! What a change from 3X and 24!!!!!!! I will put a picture on the site this week!

OK, ITS BEEN A WHILE AND I FEEL REALLY BAD THAT I HAVENT UPDATED SOONER! I AM 12 WEEKS POST OP AND FEELING REALLY GREAT! I HAVE HAD THE DUMPING A FEW TIMES BUT I AM DOING GREAT WITH ALMOST ALL FOODS AND I CAN EVEN DRINK A WINE COOLER ONCE IN A WHILE! I HAVE LOST 52 LBS.! IT COULD BE MORE BUT I HAVE BEEN SLACKING ON WALKING AND EXERCISING! I MADE A COMMITTMENT TO START AGAIN TOMORROW! I AM DOWN TO AN 18 AND I WORE A 22 TOP AND 24 BOTTOM BEFORE SURGERY SO I AM MAKING PROGRESS! I MA GOING ON A CRUISE IN JUNE AND I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO FEELING A LITTLE MORE COMFORTABLE IN SUMMER ATTIRE THIS YEAR! I PROMISE TO UPDATE MORE FREQUENTLY! HI ALL!!!!! Well, i have to tell you that i am feeling great!!!!!!!!! I went back to work before my two weeks was up and I am lodsing weight very fast!!! I have lost 33 pounds already and feeling 10 years younger. All the protein has given me a lot of energy!!! I am walking and using arm weights and my clothes are getting big!!!!!! This is so great!! I had a few days where I felt depressed a little in the beginning but I would do it again and would reccomend this surgery to everyone that is considering it! *** OFFICIAL ANGEL REPORT *** I talked with Michelle tonight & she is in great spirits! She is drinking well & walking the halls a lot. She may even get to come home tomorrow. Her pain is not to bad she said. We are so proud of her! We all miss you in the CR. Welcome to the OTHER SIDE!

I am Michelle's best friend, Jen, and I just wanted to update all of you on her progress. I saw her at the hospital just a little while ago and she is sleepy comfortably. She is doing very well, but has some pain when she has to get in and out of bed. But as you may know, Michelle is a fighter and I am very proud of her and the progress she is making. She did get to see her 2 youngest daughters tonight and that cheered her up. I just want to thank all of you (especially Lynnie who has been calling) for all of the support that you have given Michelle! She couldn't have done it without you! THANK YOU! I will keep updating you and hopefully Michelle will be on here in a few days! Take care!

*** OFFICIAL ANGEL REPORT*** I just talked to Jen, Michelle's Best friend & she said that Michelle is doing awesome! She is in some pain as to be expected but is recieving pain meds for that :) She will be getting up later to walk also. She is a very strong person...But then again, thats our Michelle! Welcome to the OTHER SIDE!!!! You will just love it over here you big loser you! :) We miss you in the CR...we are all thinking about you. You have begun your journey!

Michelle, your day is here! You are going to do just wonderful! You will have a new beginning & a different life after the WLS. You will sooooon be a BIG LOSER in life! Remember all that you have learned thru your research & in the CR. Walk......Walk........ Walk! Use your Spirometer as much as you can. And above all, think as Positive as you can. These are the secrets to a successful surgery! We will miss you in the CR so hurry back to us. SOON we will be saying " Michelle!
