Hi I had thought of doing this surgery for about two years. From my first appointment to get refereed to actually surgery date was about 18 months. Close to the surgery I thought am I doing the right thing but I knew deep down I was. Had surgery Mon Dec 8, 2014. Did have difficulty getting fluids in and still do right now some days. I have to admit I am having trouble with what to eat and have snacked on some things I should not be. Joined this group to get extra support as I have a very small support group and I do mean small. So almost 4 weeks postoperative and looking so forward to the journey ahead of me just needing to find the track to take. Going to attend support meetings. Keep you posted and good luck everyone
