Has anyone out there had RNY with DR. Oliver Whipple in Savannah Georgia?

I was born and raised in West Virginia.  We moved to Georgia in my junior year of high school.  From the time I was about 17 yrs old.  I have been overweight. I got married to a wonderful man named Joe when I was 21 yrs old.  I had my daughter (Ashley) 12 weeks premature.  I had to stay in the hospital for 11 weeks on bed rest with steriod shots every other day.

That is when  the weight really started packing it on. 

Before I knew it I was over 150 pounds overweight. 

Then in April 07. a freind told me about the Lap-band so I decided to  have the procedure done.  It was done 12/07.
Have had nothing but problems with the band since it was done.  Finally had some test done and found out that the band is going to have to be removed.  I am in the process of having everything precertified through my insurance.  And now I am in the waiting game.

My doctors office is submitting to my insurance as of Friday 6/5/09.
