well i can "feel" that TOM coming on, right on schedule too!!!  and some people have problems with it after a surgery and losing weight.  well lucky me!!  it comes right on schedule!!  and of course over the weekend when i have tons of stuff to do - including canning!  oh happy days...........

THIS DAY HAS BEEN THE DAY FROM HELL! 

I'M WHINEY BECAUSE OF KATHLEEN MOVING TO SCHOOL, THEN WE GET A CUSTOMER THAT ISN'T HAPPY WITH HIS REPAIRS AND THEN THINKS WE DROVE HIS VEHICLE 10 MILES, AND THEN I MESSED ANOTHER ONE UP......  

IT'S THE END OF FULL MOON AND I'M PROBABLY PMS'ing.....UGH!  

SO I HAVE BEEN WANTING ICE CREAM BAD TODAY!!  BUT I WENT TO SUBWAY AND GOT A MINI SUB AND I'M STILL HUNGRY SO I WAS BAD AND AT A BAG OF PEANUT M&M'S.........I SAVORED EACH ONE!

I HOPE THAT TOMORROW IS BETTER THAN TODAY!!!!!!!!!

i called the clinic and talked to lynn - dr johnson's nurse to double check and see how many calories per day to eat.  i have been staying around 1400 per day.  she said that anywhere from 1200-1400 a day is fine and food portions of 3/4 to one cup of food.   so i guess i'm doing what i am supposed to be.

are not on my list of edibles anymore!!   i had 20 ore ida zesties (and they aren't big and i don't eat them often) last night for supper and i belched those things all night............NO MORE FRIES!!!! yuck!

CAN LOSE ANOTHER 20# BY DEER SEASON??  THAT'S ABOUT 3 MONTHS AWAY.....BARRING ANY COMPLICATIONS.............1# PER WEEK..... ...... THAT WOULD BE SO AWESOME!!!

i just tried on a pair of size 22 womens faded glory (walmart brand) and they fit!!!!!!!!  i've went from an extremely over stuffed size 26 to a size 22 that aren't tight and have nothing hanging out over the top!!  yay!!

that makes my day!

this am!!  yay!  so that makes -19# since surgery and -54# total.  it's moving slow but at least it's moving!!

i also found the chewable chocolate flavored vitamins and calcuim!  cool!  they don't taste too bad either!

and along with not getting my first fill yesterday - i got on the scale this am and it was down 2 #'s!!!  yay for me!!

no fill for me!!!!!  i thought for sure that i'd get one.  dr johnson was very pleased with my results and thinks i'm in the green spot.... (according to his circle drawings - yellow = starting out w/ no restriction and green = where you should be, and red = bad > too tight, over fill) right where i should be. so my next appt is on sept 11 and we'll see what happens then.   cool!!!

last week i went with my daughter kathleen and her friend and mother to chanhassen dinner theater to see Les Miserables. 

i'm glad i've had the surgery because i wouldn't have gotten into the booth. i couldn't sit at the end but could slide around into the middle.  it was tight but i could do it.  so good for me and my WLS. 

we almost went across the bridge that collapsed in the cities.  rebecca changed her mind at the last second ~ the exit going to it was packed and she didn't want to chance being late the the hotel ~ thank god for her changing her mind,  her husband told her to go across the bridge but she doesn't like going that way!! 

i have gotten some of my energy back - have been cleaning everything, even moved into the old shed and started cleaning that out.  i moved stuff and got all the saddles and horse tack back in there from the new shed.  

rodney has actually stated this weekend ~ after a few beers that he's amazed that i'm getting back to my old self now.  he likes that and said that he'd better exercise now to lose his belly (which isn't that big)  and so that he will also be able to keep the guys away when i keep losing...........??

he was mad because i told gully how much i've lost and haven't told him - that's easy to answer!  he's never asked and/or acted like he gave a $hit one way or the other.  he also said that he didn't think that the surgery would work and he's "glad" that it is..................why are men so thick in the head??

the only thing now that bothers me is my left shoulder and that started the day of surgery while i was getting the IV meds.  the very top of my shoulder hurts and aches and can hardly move when i need to answer the phone at work.  then it moves down to my left shoulder blade and sometimes to my left elbow.  i miss my aleve!!  

i get my first fill on thursday.....that will be interesting!!
