Sorry it has been so long since ive posted but have been so busy we moved i bought my dads house were i grew up at an also when we got in were i wanted my webtv at the phone lines did not work so i finally dragged it into my dinning room an hooked it up but anyways iam waiting on INC now to approve the drs office took for ever to get info to INC i got my letter not long at all after my last visit an that was back in may a my INC recived their letter 7-2-02 i was very upset with who ever it was at drs office took so long to get letter to INC ive been calling INC once a week to see if they have made a decistion yet but they still have not so iam keeping my fingers crossed i will be calling them again monday lol an probly start calling 2xs a week now

Well talked to someone at INC yesterday and they said it will be at least 6 more days it takes 12 to 14 days b-4 they dedcide so i will be calling them back in 6 days Also in the mean time while i wait an hoping they say yes i have give up my mt dews that i have drink ever since was a kid an since i ve grown up i would drink several a day every day if i did not get my mt dew in the moning lol you did not want to be around me but it has not bothered me at all giving them up i did not even switch to a different soda i maybe have 1 soda a week now an it is a non caffeen kind if i do i drink decaf tea water an gateraide now i need to work on cutting down on the sugar i my tea but i got to slowly work on that giving up mt dews was a very big step for me

Well callled my inc yesterday and found out i was denied for the lapband so i have desided not to fight them and try and get the lap rny done cause my inc does aprove the lap rny so now i got to call dr office and have them smitt to inc for lap rny and then wait again for aprovial

Well called and talked to a lady at my INC and from what i understand from her the type of inc policy i have does not cover any type of wls so iam very bumed out right now and can not find out any more till monday i also have a medical card and iam hopeing they will pay for my wls cause iam checking into having the lap rny now and i know a med card pays for this but do not know how they do if your INC deines you. I just want this done so bad i can not go on much longer like this being so unhealthy

I am getting so depressed i talked to donna on monday and now she tells me their are several ppl in front of me an the last time i talked to her she told me mine was on top her desks and she was looking at it while we spoke so i do not know how mine went from right in front of her and her gnna send appeal letter to sveral on to ofmine now and she also tells me on monday that they will not know if medicad will pay or not till after wls and they send it in to them and hope they pay for it i do not understand how this can be when i have seen so many ppl post that they found out like a week or 2 later when it had been sent to medicade they was approved i just feal like this womanis givig me the run around and iam so fed up with it bit i wnt to have this so bad and scared if i get pissy with her she will move mine even futher down in the pile I e mailed my dr and told him what has happenhe e mailed me back and said he would check into it but i have not hered any more well guess this is all for now

WoW it has been a long time since i was able to up date but my phone an web service was turned off but since my last up date the dr were i was going staff finally got off their ass an turned in my paper wrk and i got aproved for the lapband threw medicade but!!!! i had told them at the time my INC an medicade did not arove lapbands so change it to bypass they told me ok i was all the time calling them they would not call me back or when i di get a holt of them they told me they had not herd otin yet and now i know why it too them so long to turn it in an i know why they did i got tired of folling with them an changed drs cause 1 wk after i had them fax my files to my new dr then they call e an tell me i have been aproved I told them that was good but iam not seeing yall no more yall took to long an gave me the run around an now i have a dr in my home town that has started doing this so i will be using him not yall thank you an by but i found out their was a dr i my town that does this i was so thrilled it did not take long to get a apt with him at all also found out he has been here for like a year wish i would have knew that a yr ago case it was may 17th when i last seen the other dr an just now getting aproved thats bad but if i would have known about this dr here i could have done had this done by now but oh well i will get it done an be on my way to getting healthy so i guess this is it for now just had to write an get updated in here

Well i still have not herd nothig yet for a date i hope it does not take as long with this dr as it did with the other one i can not go on like this for almost another year cause while i have been waiting to get approved from dr. Allen i have gained more weight and scared since ive stoped smoking i will gain alot more if i do not get this done soon

Well another day went by and still have not herd that i was approvedyet for bypass i will be so glad when the wait is over I did talk to lady today that lives up the road from me and she had her bypass in JAN and is doing great she went to the same dr iam going to now and she just kept bragging on him what a good dr he is

Well found out today my WLS has been postponed for 1 wk but that is because dr is gonna be out of town the weekend of the 9th and he wants to be here after have it so if anything goes wrong the only thing i like about it being changed is it is gonna be alot earlyer in day it will be at 9am instead of noon

everything went great i was in a rush 2 days b-4 getting all my test in the day of my operation i was very nervous cause of the epadurial but they gave me happy pills for that i rember goining into operation room andnext thing i knew i was waking up in my room frist 3 days i dont rember allot was to out of it but the took out epadurail on firday and i have not had any pain since they took it out just a few headaches and took tylona for that my got 1 drain tube out on sat and the other one out monday b-4 i left the hosp my nurses was the best i had they all treadted me very good ive made it very good since ive been home and by wed nite i was done able to sleep on my stomach again i have not weighted i do not have a scales was gonna wait till i go to dr on the 30th to get staples out BF says he can see by looking at me ive done lost witch i know i have cause since i went into hosp and was able to start having somethng all i have had is liquids 2 thing i did not care for 1 was when i woke up and had hat nasty NG tube down my nose i still have a sore in my nose from it also the IV i had to ave 4 dfferent ones not at 1 time but when they had it in me i was having problems case they used such a big needle cause putting that stuff in me so fast i was going threw 5 bottles a day i still have some bruses an knots from the IVS but all else is great so guess this is it for now

Well today i got my staples out it was no problem at all it has been 2 wks since my WLS and i have now lost 18pds i was so excited about it i get to start on full liquids now will be on them for 1 wk then i go back to dieatition to go to puree foods i was so glad to get to move up to full liquids the clear stuff was so boaring i have alot bigger choice now and i love my nosugar added icecream i can have now

I still have not had any pain to haft to take any thing for with my WLS i have done so well i wish everyone having WLS could do as good as me by i give the credit to my Lord Jesus chist and Dr Argotte i had all my faith in the 2 of them i have noticed since i had this when i wake up i do not feal as worn out as i used to i the morings even thoew iam not sleeping well it is cause of bed i want a new mattress after i put my daugter on bus i went for a walk it was a short one just starting out i plan on walking 2xs a day in moring and late eveing when it is cool i did good gonna increase distance when i can

Its been awhile since ive posted but last wk i lost 3½pds and this wk i lost another 3½ pds for a total loss of 25pds now iam so excited that 25pds is gone for ever I am on soft food now and i like that very much i know i have lost weight and by how my clotes fit i can tell it but as far as looking at my self i can not tell it yet well guess this wil be all for now

Well as of today iam down to 233 i need to start walking so i can lose more it is just so hard to get movaited to walk my bf is making it very hard on me he is buying all the stuff i can not have and eating it like white choclate reeces he said he should not haft to do with out that stuff just cause i do well that may be true but he should have feelings for me and think how that is doing me right now i told him if he could not have that stuff i would not be buying it and eating it in front of him well guess this will be it for now

WOW it has done been 2 mts since i had my WLS and i am down 35 pds WOOOOHOOOO i am getting more and more engery back every day i still have not been walking like i should i just do not like to walk alone I also have some walking tapes but just have not been motavited to do them and i got to be alone to do them dont like to excersise in front of anyone unless they are excersing with me I am able to eat alil more now that iam futher out i also have not been getting in all the water iam suppose to i just do not get very thristy alot of my clothes are getting so baggy on me I would like to lose more a wk than 2 or 3 pds i guessthat is were the excersing part comes in but also my diection said 2 or 3 pds a wk is what she likes to see but i want to lose as much as i can in the 6 mts b-4 it slows down as i have herd ppl say it does. Went back to diection today and now have lost 47 pds since 4-16-03 do not know how many inches i never did do that but ive gove from wearing a size bigger than 20 jeans cause the last jeans i bought was 2s and they gotto thigh on me so i was wearing jogging pants all the time now my 20s are baggy on me i can get into 18s but they are just a lil to tight right now but i know i will be in them b-4 long

I got to get weighted today and i have now lost 75pds only 25 more to go to make it to the century club wooohooo iamso happy i bought me a cute lil dress today and dressed up. I felt so good about myself well guess this is it for now

I finally got to go get weighted today and i have now lost 85pds that brings me down to 175 i was so excited and i can now get into a size 14 jeans i had some from a long time ago when i used to be in them that i saved but i did buy me 1 new pair today of 14s also 2 pairs of 8s the 8s was on sale for 3.00 dollars and could not pass them up . I would have lost more weight last mth but i was not eating several times a day or getting in my water and protein like i was suppose to and you have got to eat and get your water and protein in to lose good.The 16th of next mth will be my 6th mth mark and i want to have at least 100 pds gone by then. Hope it will be a lil more. Cause i know ive herd from to many after 6mts it gets harder to lose well this is it for today

Wow I did not relize how long it had been since Ive posted a update but notmuch going on I still losing but it has slowed way down but Im down to 157 now that is 103pd weight loss I can get into size 10s 8s or 6s depending on who they are made by. I will be calling a Dr monday to see about a TT hernia repair would love to have more done if I had the money to do it

Ok now I have lost 110pds 8 size jeans are to big I wear 6s or 5/6s i can get into 4s but they are toight to wear.I tryed on my overalls from last yr and I can fit into 1 side of them now.

Im not trying to lose no more my goal was 125 but I think now that would be to thin cause I can wear a size 4 now and they are lose on me if I cant find size 4 in womens I get a 14 in lil girls I go to the dr on the 2nd for another check up and to find out about my hernia repair and TT i will post more then

Went to dr last wk Im now down to 138 still very happy with that even thoe im not trying to lose any more I go back to see Dr A in 2wks Im trying to get aproved to get hernia repaired and a TT done at same time he can do both I was very glad when i found that out I want him to do it instead of some other dr well guess this is it for now and with down to 138 that is a loss of 122pds Ive almost lost what my weight is If I did not have the extra skin it would be more weight gone

Went back to dr today still doing good and have maintained my weight for 2 wks now did find out I now have 2 hernias still waiting on INC to approved the hernia TT repair also may have found some cheap INC to take care of TT and other things that needs to to tucked will post more as soon as I know more about it waiting for the info to come in then mail my vit E was up a lil and my iron level was down a lil but not bad enough on either one to be concerned with so this will be it for a while posting till i find out about INC

Well yesterday was my WLS B-Day I have lost a total of 122pds witch brings me down to 138 from 260 and I feel wonderful Still have not herd from INC for hernia repaire TT so still waiting for that I have started a new job I work at a wal-mart in produce deparment been their a lil over 1 mth and just after 3wks their my manager wants to train me for her assisant I was so happy for that.Anyone reading this if you have not got approved yet dont give up it will happen sometimes it just takes time but its so worth it just hang in their and rmembere dont let the things you can not change interfere with the things you can.Life is so much better now that all that weight is off. I celerbated by going fishing at the lake I caugt 3 fish but only 1 was worth keeping. Well guess this is about it for now will post more anpother time

WOW did not notice it had been this long since my last post so mcuh has been going on my daughter had to have a oeration on her legs and was in cast for 1 mth she just got them off on day and still can not walk so I got to take longer off from work and I was finally able to go get weighted havenot done it since march but now I am down to 136 my goal starting out 125 but after getting in a size 3 jeas I stoped at 138 or thought I had but I do like the sound of 135 insteady of 138 so gonna try to lose just 1 more pd now still waiting for INC to approve hernia TT and need hernia repair done cause after lifting on my daughter for 1 mth with cast on its hurting bad now and b-4 I was not hurting with it

WOOOHOOO I finally got approved for my TT hernia repair I will have it 7-16-04 I can hardly wait so excited about it to finaly get the extra skin off my belly next is to try for a thigh and but lift well guess this is it for now will write more after the TT

Well had to change the date for my hernia repair TT cause i got sick also was gonna be on vacation the next wk and found out dr would have not let me go I am so glad i did not try it cause the pain I am in I would have not had a goodtime at all but i had it done on the 6th and it had to be the worst operation i have ever had as far as pain goes the dr sent me home with liquid lortab 7.5 an it does nothing for the pain so go to wait till monday to call him and try to get something different I do not know what happen to my back during operation but something has cause it hurts so bad it feel like someone trying to pull my spine out and the hernia repair hurts bad dr said my was so big and so high up hes not sure it will hold and may haft to go back in their later and redo it also said my bellybutton may not take cause so much scar tissue around it from other operations I hope i never haft to go threw and other hernia repair operation again I do not know how many pds he removed yet he just told me alot maybe I can find out wed wehn I go see him the scales still shows my same weight as it did b-4 I had my operations wel guess this is it I will try to post more on wed after I go see my dr

Seen my dr all went well but forgot to ask him some things still dont know how much skin he removed but after the TT hernia repair I still waighted the same I was expecting to be heaver with the swelling and fluid well tonight I got on the scales weight had been 136 its now 130 wooooohooo so excited and all the swelling and fluid are not gone yet.The pain from hernia is much better have not had any pain meds today I did develope a yeast infection so dr has me on meds for that So guess this is till monday when I go back to dr will be sure to write my questions down this time for him

Had to go to dr yesterday had some fluid build up he drained off 60cc of fluid also got stictches out of bellybutton that felt better was in some pain today so went to ER cause felt like more fluid build up the dr did not think their was any he did get some off but very lil but still felt better after he got it off tryed on new to me jeans today and bought 3 pairs to size 2s and one size ½ I was in 3s and all my swelling is not gone yet and still have fluid so nw I wonder what size I will be when all the swelling is gone I wish their was a special store that just had clothes for petite size 5 and smalle ppl or guess I will haft to check out kids clothes now lol me and my daughter can get matching outfits now ok this is it for today oh yea one more thing my scales show me at 128 now

Hi all well yesterday was a good day and a bad one the good part about it my great newph that was born 2mts early is not gonna haft to have heart operation his valve closed on the meds they gave him the other good news I got was how my dr made me feel he was compamelting me oh how good i looked and even told me he would like me to come to the support group meeting and show off how good i look and wear a belly shirt and a shortskirt boy taking about making my day then for the bad part of the day our lil dog got daughter for christmas got ran over and killed I know the person had to do it on purpose cause were she was in the road and not only losing a pet we loved very much also the money lost on her now she was a weenie dog and with cost of her and vet bills was around 500.00 was gonna be breading her she come from very good blood lines So now i will never buy a pure bread dog again I lost my sheltie a fe mts back but i was the one that backed over her and that made it even worse but she was old and in bad shape so I know she is better off now bt tinkerbell was still just a pup not even 1 yr old yet well guess this is it

Hope today is a great day we are having a big todo thing today still in some pain from hernia repair but not enough to take anything for it got 2 new babies last wk cause our lil wennie dog got ran over and our lil by ratterrier was very heart broken along with us the 2 of them was very close buddies but they are wennie wiredhair terrier mix and they are the cutiest things we named them sandy & paprika and our lil boy dog loves them cause now hehas 2 girlfriends ok guess this is it for now take care all who reads this

hello again well last thursday nght I had a bad epasode that secared mebad did not know what was going on but for 2 days b-4 I had a headache that could not get complety rid of then that night about 2 hrs after I ate just felt weird all over and from my elbows down to my hands was shaking and could not make it stop found out it was from low blood sugar whle I was posting on here asking if it had happen to anyone else I was drinkig some reg soda then about 30 mns later a gf came over and checked my blood it was 78 then and I had stoed shaking so no telling what it was b-4 she got her and I was shaking but I kow now to keep a closer watch on it and if it happens again what to do also my gf she gave me a extra thing to keep it checked she had and to top it off lots of stress here now hope it gets better but my reg dr has me on nerve pills now for it ok well guess this is it for this post just wanted to add if anyone feels weird and has bad shaking from elbows down to hands get your sugar checked fast cause low sugar can be as dangerous as high if you are having it b-4 you get somewere to check it eat a small thing of something sweet or 2 or 3 ozs of reg soda and let your dr know what happen so they are aware of it

WOW just noticed hpow long it has been since I have posted. So much as been going on me and bf I did have for 5yrs split up. I just could not take the stress anymore with him. I have a new lve in my life we have been togetaher 8mths now and plan to be married june of 06 . All has been going good with me as far as the bypass operation goes. I did just get threw havin a hystorectomy done and was so glad cause now no more pain with it .Just enjoying life now as a healthy person. Also much smaller person my weight still stays between 135 and 140 so happy with that and still in size 2 jeans and a li smaller if I want them nice and tight to show my but good lol.Well guess this is it for now will try to keep up dated more on here now that things have seteled down some here

Thought I would take the time while I had it to post. Things are still going good here. I have lost 13 more pds and a lil over 2 yrs. out now my weight is now 125.That was my goal weight when I started this and be i a size 6 jeans but got to 135 and size 2 jeans and would stay at that or just got up to aout 140. I have been doing lots of work out side now haft to do it and I have a huge place to take care of.I also have been cravin water very bad even when i frist wake up in mors B-4 I had my hystrocma I could not stand water when i woke up and now its what i want or tea I have gave up my reg sodas and coffee do not want them no more. Also been eating lots of fresh fruit.I bet I drink over a gal of water a day now.I never thought I wold say I did not want to lose any more weight but saying it now ..lol I go back to dr some time next mth to find out how my blood work is. DR has me on iron and zinc now .My blood has been low so hope its all better now . Well thought I would up date so if anyone is keeping up with me

Wow can not believe another yr has gone by. It has been a pretty good yr . I found a new job I love and make pretty good also.The hrs work out good for me to be able to work i the main thing.
Well I had to have my ernia repaired again this is the 2nd time now for same hernia. Dr was worried it wold ot hold cause so high up. This time he put mesh under iand n i both and went higher up I know I'm gonna be much more carefu thi time. I have my share of hosp in 2005.Also need to have CTS operation done but gonna put that off for a while now.I had problems with herna operation and my breathing but if they would have losened up my binder some could have breathed. Instead the nurse sits me straigh up in bed I start screaming put me back down and grabb the side rails she tells me let go b-4 I break the bed and prys my hands lose. Finally she lest me back down some. Still noone will loses up the binder I had my operation at 730 that mor and at 8.00 tat night they put me in a room was gonna end me home I told them I was not gonaa go hme was gonna stay at least 1 nght cause of my breathing. I know if they had sent me home I would have been right back in ther. I wish I cold have got that nurses name but was to out of it . I will be calling somee and tellng y dr when I see hi on the th what happen.My nurses I had in hosp was very nice and most of all the one that got me up walking me. When she changed my dressings she losened up binder some for me . I had told her what happen. I was able to get good deep breath a lil better when she did that. I have lost some of the weight I had gained back but I always lose weight after operations cause I lose my appetite for a while after them. LOL I know y dr will be happy for weight loss he has been upset with me and fussing at me when I go in for the weight gain.. Ok well guesss this is it for now. I'm gonna try to do better this yr and keep this up dated better 1-22-06
Have not been doing very good was back in hosp again cause of fluid build up and was dehytrated . Spent 2 nights in hosp and now they have a catatider in my belly to drain fluid . Not much comes out now I go next tue to get this out. I have got to slow down cause got out of hosp tue nite and started my new job wed plus still at my other job but wed will be my last nite at old job. I have lost down to 130pds now.So when thats over with can slow down some I was not able to work sat nite was to wore out and felt like I was getting deyhrated again Also getting out of working my thur nite shift.I just hope all the fluid is finally gone I think all the weight I have lost cause me to build up so much fluid cause it has no more fat to absorbe in to now.Ok well guess this is it for now

Well I just have the one job now and love it and my hrs. Feeling better now and getting lil more rested and getting some of my strenght back. Well I fired my DR yesterday. I have just got to fed up with him he has changed so much in the 3 yrs.He has way to man patients for one and has got to sugery happy. Also my last 3 operations he did he did not even bother to come and let my family know if I was alive dead or what. I was done in my room b-4 they knew any thing about me.Also the nite I had to go to ER and dr on call for my dr would not come in . Told my dr about it and he acted like it did not bother him told me why other dr would not see me is coz ogastric bypass. I'm thinking you have a dr on call for you and he will not come in to treat your patients that has had this?Thats w messed up.His nurse was upset also she was in room when talking to him.Also he has on his mind is what other kind of operations he can do he wasnetd to operate on e again to remove scar tissue. Well all thats gonna do is make more scar tissue. i went yesterday and picked up and bunch of papers from my file to give to my family dr so he can do blood test on me now.Talked to the nurse and she said she told him that mor waht was goin on what I had said and also many of his other patiens very upset with him as well. He acted very surpisd and she said I been telling you about this and yo would never listen to me. So maybe when he loses more of his patients he will change.

WOW can not believe another yr has done gone by and I missed my B-day:( I have just been so busy with new job and it spring time nw also have ot remarried did that on 4-1 . To a very wonderful man but he has not got to move here yet. It will be june b-4 he will get to move here. I will be so glad when that happens its ruff him in IN and me it ky. I try to laugh about it and tell ppl yeah have the perfect marriage he live their and me here and we have visits 1 time a mth lol.
Kk well I'm still doing good have not had a chance tho to get my paper work to my family Dr.I have also got to get back on my vitiams I'v been bad about not taking them.I guess this is it will up date more when somethig happens
