Yesterday I went for my 3 week check-up and found out I lost 26lbs.!!!!! I was shocked!! I thought at the most I lost was 10 to 15lbs.! I am so happy. I have decided to not buy a scale yet, and wait until my 6 week check-up for my next weight check. My leg is feeling much better, boy what a scary thing that was. Well keep up the good fight all and remember to smile :)......

Hi Colleen, So sorry to hear about you having phlebitis now. I know that can be very painful. My boyfriend accidentally erased my answering machine with your phone number on it. That's why I didn't call you back. I hope you are feeling good. I had my 6 wk check up today. I'm down 42 lbs. and I'm feeling pretty good. Can't return to work yet though because my incision opened up 3 wks ago and it's still not closed. Let me know how you are doing. Take care.

Thank you everyone for your well wishes and prayers. I am having some problems with something called phlybitis, a hardening of the secondary arteries in my left calf. It hurts real bad. I have to keep my leg up and on moist heat and take xtra strength tylonol. I thought it was blood clots. They say it is not though. I am still scared. I need to put my leg back up now, so take care all....
