Good Day !

Jun 25, 2009

Still sheding pounds, exercising, still sore at a couple of sites, water still a problem, drink a lot of teas.
Balance still off, feet hurt with stress, I meditate.
Love how I look , not in a vain way , but in a cloths look nicer, I can wear regular shoes, and sleeveless attire.
Taking life 1 breathe at a time

Eating during the Holidays

Dec 29, 2008

Very proud of myself, did not eat any foods that would put excess pounds on,
Ate my usual small portion of healthy balanced diet. I was afraid that I would get caught up tasting every thing, I didn't.Thank You God !

Eight weeks post-op

Oct 30, 2008

Very happy with my weight reduction, having problems with severe chronic pain in my feet and have been bedridden, unable to walk and barely stand. I use a rolling walker  and try to move around my small
apartment, do sit and be fit exercise, some yoga on my bed.
My eating habit is ooh so strange, can't taste food, not hungry, water awful, ice best, everything too salty and too sugary, even if it says low.
I eat on a schedule so I don't miss any meals, thank God for meals on wheels. I get the diabetic diet, helps me to stay on track. still nauseated.
Very happy to have had surgery, most desperately want to be free of pain.
For over 10 years I have been in this crisis, I hope that in time the neuropathy goes bye bye for ever as the weight goes, and I can live and
complete my goals.

There is is a lot  going on in my life, having to keep my calendar close ,everyday is filled, I went from doing nothing to absolutely busy.
As most know deciding to have this life altering surgery is big, so I'm preparing mentally, spiritually, decluttering my home, wasn't able to do anything much since moving to a smaller place due to constant pain, this is something I can only do myself.  I 'm looking foreward to living a healthier and pain -free  life.
Members from my church Center for Spiritual Living are truely family.
they are here for me thru this, since I live alone and my family isn't able to .   They will take me to the UW for appointments, come and be with me when I return home.
I LOVE each one of them, and thank God  I live in Mount Vernon WA.
