Hello:) My surgery date for weight loss is scheduled Aug. 23, 2011.
I am living in Monroe, Michigan and having the surgery done at the Barix center in Ypsilanti, Michigan
Dr. Poplawski is my surgeon
My main concern now is what to eat the week before surgery and I had my blood work and all the other tests done
last Tuesday..two weeks before the scheduled surgery date.
My wife is my main supporter in this endeaver for WLS but she sometimes is skeptical as we have been married for over 26 years and she has seen me try and fail on many diets and weight loss plans.
I too am skeptical as I have been fighting the battle of obesity for over 40+ years.
I have high blood pressure and sleep apnea and I know that when the excessive weight is loss I will be taken off many of the medecines I am taking for these and other ailments due to be morbidly obese
My curretn weight is 315 and I was up to 325 before I decided that WLS was the only real opportunity to lose the excess weight and be able to keep it off.
