9 Months Already
Oct 10, 2008
Has it really been 9 months already? Time has flown. I'm down 104lbs and in a size 12. I cannot believe how far I've come in such a short time. Nine months ago I could barely walk up a flight of stairs and now I'm coaching my daughter's soccer team. Life is awesome!!!
Less Than 100 To Go!!!
Feb 28, 2008
Well, its been 8 weeks and I'm down 39lbs... life is good. I now officially have less than 100 to go before reaching goal. Exercise has been a huge issue for me but I joined a gym today. I'm excited about the gym and really think that I will go several times a week. So far this journey has been great and I have absolutely no regrets.
Water, Water, Water
Feb 09, 2008
It's been 5 weeks and I'm down an amazing 30lbs. I can hardly believe it. Now if I could only drink enough water. I never realized how hard it is to drink 64 oz of liquid. I've done really good sticking to just water or crystal light (haven't had a soda since before surgery). It just seems like I sip, sip, sip all day and never seem to get even close to 64 oz. Right now I'm getting about 40-48 oz a day but I know that's not enough. I'll just keep plugging away and surely it will happen eventually.
Blocked - Oh The Pain!!!
Feb 04, 2008
Well, I had a very uncooperative 4 year old yesterday morning which meant I was running around like crazy. I didn't eat anything before leaving for work but I did take all my pills/supplements... BAD idea!! I usually take my pills over an hour or so but was in a hurry and not paying attention and took them all in about a 5 minute span. It took about 20 minutes and then MAJOR pain in my chest. It felt like a bulldozer was ramming into my sternum. After 2 1/2 hours and several episodes of throwing up, I got it all out and the pain went away. I will never do that again!!!
On My Way
Jan 20, 2008
Well, it's been a little less than 3 weeks and I'm down 24 lbs. I'm really shocked at how well everything is going. I have tons of energy and haven't had any problems (i.e. dumping etc.) I tried some solid food this weekend for the first time with no problems. Crackers are my current favorite. Of course, 3 at a time is my limit. It's so weird to eat 3 and be completely satisfied when only a month ago it would have been half the box. This is definitely an exciting journey.
