Well.....I am new to this site and just in search of other people in my shoes!!! I am a mother of 3 beautiful children and have fought my weight my whole life. I was obese as a child and then slimmed down in grades 7-12. After graduation however, I got married and started having children and I started ballooning. I have tried just about every diet imagineable out there, in which...I'd have success but would eventually fall off the bandwagon....and gain it all back and then some. I have some very close friends that have had the gastric bypass and I seen what success they have had and started thinking about it. I started having health issues in which 3 different doctors suggested I should seriously think about bariatric surgery. So, I came home one day....and discussed it with my children who were all very supportive of me having it done. That's all I needed was to hear their okay! I called the doctor and gave him my decision...and I am in the early stages of the process right now!!! I am very excited, maybe a little nervous..but I know deep down, the benefits outweigh the risks in my situation!!! I am looking forward to a NEW ME!!!!!
