I'm currently 24 years old...going on 25....and have been overweight my entire life. I've tried every diet known to man---and was successful in a handfull of them. I've come to a point in my life where I'm ready for this next step. I'm having lap band not only for myself----but for my future. I want to raise a family with a new understanding of food and eating patterns. I can only imagine how my life is going to change----but I can only hope and pray that I have a lot of exciting things instore for the future! I have never allowed being overweight to hold me back---but I can't even begin think about all of the opportunites that are about to come my way after loosing the weight!
