"I was referred to Dr. Hammer by my father who recently went to him for a Gall Bladder Surgery. My first impression of Dr. Hammer was good, he was very positive and helpful. He also had an intern who was very pleasant and personable. I have had nothing but luck and positive things to say about his office staff and the people involved in the process. The aftercare program seems to be pretty detailed, I am still preop so I can't say too much on that yet. The seminar you have to attend is very informational and covers everything. I think to me surgical competence and bedside manner are both important, however, surgical competence is a little more important."
