"The bar tastes good. But, I don't care for a lot of sweets. I am different from the average sweet tooth craving woman. I like tart and tangy. So, to eat one of these on a daily basis just didn't do it for me. I was able to eat a third of one bar. I think they would be great for someone that likes sweets."

"I did have a couple of complaint. Its too cold. I felt my healing process would have been smoother had it not been so cold. I have bronchitis and the cold air made it difficult for me. Staff should be aware that some patients may be extra sensitive to the cologne. Also, after I was switched from the pump to oral pain medications. I wasn't given the medication on time."

"Dr. J. appears to be very knowledgeable and compassionate about his work. He was very easy to speak with. He answered many of my questions with a quite, knowing demeanor. He was not hurried and I appreciated this greatly. He let me ask as many questions as I could think of and in my opinion he answered very honestly. His office staff is great. Very patient and caring. They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. I didn't feel self-conscience or embarrassed. Dr. J. addressed my concerns about the pitfalls of surgery head on and very honestly. I told him that I was aware of the risk and I had researched extensively, but I still had apprehension. I asked him if anyone had died after he performed surgery and he confirmed yes. He also, gave statistics, and reasons why patients die. He ordered extensive testing. At first I found this a burden. But the more research I've conducted I now understand its imperative for a successful surgery that he is fully informed of my current health status prior to surgery. He ordered 2 sleep labs and I balked at the idea of having to attend a 2nd sleep lab. But, again, I understand now why all the test had to be performed and I am grateful that he is very thorough. He is affiliated with Neweigh which is an aftercare program. He also required the signing of several forms to insure complete understanding of the consequences of this surgery. At this point and time, I am please with Dr. J., and would recommend him to all. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I had my pre-op appointment with Dr. Jayakumar. He appears to be friendly. I had a lot of questions to ask him, thanks to the immense knowledge of my wls family. I just wanted to clarify somethings. He answered a lot of my questions but seemed to become annoyed that I had "too many" questions. He mistook my many inquiries as an indicator that I had serious doubts of whether I should have the surgery or not. And honestly I don't have any second doubts. But, I did have many questions. I wasn't in doubt, I had been told I could have lap ryn but I didn't know anything about proximal or distal until I seen it on the web. I believe a patient should know all options before choosing anything. And if I am not mistaken, that is what the pre-op is for. I also asked him for the results for the many test I had taken. I don't think this is unreasonable. Come to find out, one thing I had not been told was that I had gallstones. If I had not asked, I never would have known. Its my body, I should know. Most Dr.'s don't like for you to ask to many questions. Anyway, I have heard nothing but good things about him. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dr. J. treated me very well. He was geniunely concerned when it appeared I may have a leak. He visited me several times throughout my hospital stay and kept me well informed. He came to the x-ray room and viewed the second test while I was still there. He went out of his way to ensure that I felt comfortable with what was going on around me, by visiting me and giving me updates of my progress. I am most happy with the care I received in the hospital. "
