What's been happening and what's to come...

Sept. 7, 2009 -This year has been crazy.
- I lost my cat, Zacc in Feb.
- Stress of the next year's budget is a concern at work, I may be transferring to another dept.
- At the time I started looking into bariatric surgery, I lost my Dad in June after Father's Day... I really miss our phone calls. Siblings got together to help clear out my Dad's place at the assistant living. We shared a lot of great memories and the time spent was great. It was also good to see Mom during that time... She is in the nursing home w/ Alzheimer's. I hope to be able to spend more time with her and be able to make more drives to come see her again.
- July 27, had a Vena Cava Filter to help dissolve blood clots below my lungs to prevent Pulmonary Embolism.
- July 31, had the stress test on the heart done from the Cardiologist, Steven Havard's office.
- Aug. 6, had to have a CPAP for Sleep Apnea.
- Starting Aug. 24, have been meeting with the Chiropractor twice a week. I had concerns about lower back pain, left hip and neck. Found out that I had a reverse curvature of the spine in the neck and had some issues in the areas mentioned previously. I'm currently meeting with her twice a week to have them adjusted. I can tell a difference from when I first started and hope this will help when the time comes for the surgery.
- News that my job position will be moving effective, Oct. 1. I am so thankful that they still want me in the organization!
I have scheduled for the following:
- As of now, I'm looking forward to meeting Dr. Wade Barker and his staff this Thursday, Sep. 10th. I hope things will be wrapping up soon from what was done and currently scheduled. I'm seriously looking into the Gastric Bypass - RNY. Mainly because I'm not sure my body can handle a foreign object... I'm discovering that I'm allergic to the nose piece to the the CPAP machine. I'm thinking it will have the same reaction with the Lapband.
- Sep. 11, appt. scheduled for psychiatric consultation for bariatric evaluation.
- Sep. 14, EGD/Colonoscopy.
