"I was a little startled by him when he walked in. I had just gotten back from having my EGD and was still a little groggy. He seemed very thorough, but was straight-to-the-point. He probably had a lot to do that day, so I guess it was o.k. I had to take an MMPI which seemed to take forever!! He asked me a bunch of questions like what did my family think of me having the surgery and did I fully understand what having it meant. It went by really quickly. He was in the room (which he came and found me when I got out of my EGD, talk about door to door service) all of 20 minutes. Then he left and I finished the 500 questions. "
"My first impression of Dr. Alexander was, "He's short like me. Good." :-) His office staff was pretty nice. I only got to talk to one of them, but she was ok. I thought she was a little pushy, but she probably has to say the same stuff all the time and gets a little bored. Dr. Alexander pretty much threw the info. at me, but since I had researched this so much before, I knew what he was talking about. He gave us some stats about his surgeries and then drew pictures so I could see what I would be doing. Overall our first meeting was kinda rushed, and if I hadn't already done a lot of reading on the surgery, I'd probably a little scared. But as of now, I'm completely confident. "
