"<font face="arial" size="3"><font color=”#000000”>Had my initial consultation with Dr. Wongsa on 6-30-03. I have to say that I very much liked Dr. Wongsa. I already knew much about him from my research here and from my friend who had her WLS surgery performed by him. Dr. Wongsa was frank and to the point making sure I understood everything. I have been researching WLS for over 6 months, so I did not have many questions for Dr. Wongsa. I was impressed with his office staff. Jackie had WLS three years ago, performed by Dr. Wongsa. SHE LOOKS AWESOME! Dee was great too. Overall, my initial consultation was a pleasant experience. Will update more as the process progresses. "

"I had one issue with my IV and one night nurse who would not listen to me. My veins are very hard to find and when my IV had to be re-inserted, I requested lidocaine. She didn't listen to me and proceeded to torture me and then went and grabbed another nurse to do the same. I finally snatched my arms back from them and insisted that they get a Dr's order to give the lidocaine. The anesthesiologist came and administered the lidocaine and got the IV started lickety split. If you have weak and faint veins, insist that they have an anesthesiologist run the IV. "
