Question:
Disney World - will I fit on the rides?

I'm going to Disney, MGM, Epcot, all those in Nov. By that time I should be about 285 lbs. I'm 6' tall and big chested. Has anyone else with these stats been there recently? Did you have any specific problems? I'm going for my honeymoon and I'm just horrified at the thought that I might not fit. — Monica H. (posted on August 14, 2002)

yes you definitely will. I went there I am the same weight and only 5'2" and I fit so you definitely will. Most of the rides there you don't have to exactly fit in them except maybe the roller coaster. you will be fine. Have a lot of fun!!!!!

I was over 300 and was able to ride all the rides I wanted. Disney is better than most amusement parks when it comes to the size of the rides... I should also mention that I had a pretty big butt... =)

you will fit. I was over 300 when we went and i had the same worries your having, but their seats are big enough for you and someone else. I though before going that if I did fit in the seats that i would have to ride alone but there was more then enough room for another person.

OMG! Go and have a blast!! Just rest every once and a while and get on those rides. I was able to. They are very accomodating. I absolutely LOVE Disney. Can't wait to go back!

I went to Disneyland in March when I was pre-op. I am 5'6" and was about 330 at the time. I fit on everything I went on although I was nervous until I got into the seat. The only problem I had was one of the "kiddie" rides where my husband and I didn't fit in the same seat together. Oh yeah, there was one ride that had a weight limit of 200 lbs. Go have fun--you should be fine!

I went to Disney World for my honeymoon and had a BLAST! It was wonderful. I am 5'3" and weighed close to 300 lbs at that time. I had no problem with any of the rides. On the plane ride there, I needed a seat belt extender, but the stewardess handled it very quietly and respectfully.

Don't worry....just HAVE FUN!!

Let us know how it went after you go!
