Question:
Is CARB_SOLUTIONS a good protein drink to have after surgery?

Hi Gail - I use Carb Solutions and am 4 weeks post-op - down 29#s. I use
the powdered vanilla and chocolate. With the vanilla, I add a banana (for
the potassium)...a little crushed ice & water. I prefer this one to
most of the others. Good Luck, Karan

I guess it is good but carb solutions taste SUPER NASTY! YUK... It has a
VERY BAD taste and after taste.... but thats just my opinion. I go to GNC
for my protien.

I tried the ready mixed carb solutions just so I would know if I liked it
or not after surgery, it was NAAASSSTTTYYYY,it was very sweet to me and
left an after taste and also tasted alittle chalky but this is just my
opinion,I did try the choc.

I tried carb solutions as a new post-op, and one sip led me to throw the
rest of the can (powdered)away. It was by far the worst protein drink I've
tried, and I've tried several. The GNC suggestion is good ... often the
staff has made recommendations for me, and if I don't like something,
they'll take it back with a receipt, so no risk.

I buy the pre mixed, not the powder, and I found it was really sweet, so I
mix it half of a bottle with 4 oz of skim milk, it takes me longer to drink
them, but I like the smooth taste, and they are easy to get down. They have
vanilla, chocolate (which I dont like to much) and Cappacino Sp?. I like
them way more then the other 6 protein drinks I tried, but its all about
personal choice, and taste. Good Luck!

I did use Carb Solutions right after surgery & I didn't think it was to
bad, but it was a little on the thick side. I haven't used it since I
started using ProBlend 55(love this one) Have tried Strawberry,Chocolate
& Vanilla.

I personally like the pre-made Carb-Solution's. I do agree it's thick and
sweet and you should mix with milk.

I love the ready to drink vanilla....am 14 months out and this is the FIRST
one that I can swallow...I have not tried the powder, but the vanilla is
good.
