Hello from the "other side"! I want to thank everyone on this list for your prayers and warm thoughts, especially my angel, Carla! I had an open RNY on Friday, 3/30, at 7:30 a.m, and was released from the hospital yesterday, 4/2, at 12:00 noon. I can't say that I'm feeling GREAT, but I am feeling good and haven't had any medical problems at all. I have been on water, clear liquids and 2 oz. of EnsurePlus (uucck!) 3 times a day since Sunday. The only thing that bothers me is the smell of food right now -- my family made cheeseburgers tonight and I had to stay out of the room while they ate -- smelled soooo good. I brought my water back to the computer room to chat with you guys! Anyway, back to the subject -- THANKS! Thanks to all of you, my angel Carla, my doctor and skilled nurses, my family and God, the Father, in whom all things are possible. Bless you all.
