Hi Michelle, After having the surgery with a nicked spleen it is a given that you will be tired. The additional stress on your body may have set you back a week or two. You will begin to feel better soon. :) MaryLyn

Michelle, You had MAJOR surgery along with a complication. Your body will take a bit to recover. I had NO complications with my surgery and I was tired for about 6 weeks. Then one day I realized that I wasn't coming home and taking a nap every evening. I had turned the corner and you will too. It will get better soon, hon.

Hi Michelle that is prob why you are so tired still, but I am also very tired at times too still and I am now 5 mths post-op. The doctor told me that it is normal to be tired still for awhile, but also I advise you to get your iron level checked too cuz that can cause you to be tired if it is low. Take care and you'll be fine!

Well I just cant' imagine WHY your tired! (Ok that was scarcasim) Honestly honey your doing fine. I had not quite the same problem but a lot of complications (open RNY with revision) For 3 months I couldn't walk for 5-6 I was exhausted all the time. I could make it to the door of walmart but that was about it and had to use a wheel chair to keep from passing out. BUT it did get better, it's been about 9 months now I'm walking 1-2 miles, swimming, KNEEBOARDING! I've went from 325 to 170! A tight 28W to a 10!!! To be honest if I never lost another ounce I'd do it again in a heartbeat! Diana
