Melissa, it is NEVER too late to start up losing weight again.Increase your
protein and water drinking. Try the cabbage soup diet and exercise (evil
word...lol). Best of luck, Mickey..........

First, if you have been compliant and lost 68 pounds, it is entirely
possible that your body is a "slow loser"-- the goal would then
be to not let your less-than-rapid (albeit healthy) weight loss discourage
you.
To the extent you feel that your results are due to less-than-stellar
compliance on your part, appreciate that It is never too late to make the
lifetime sorts of lifestyle changes that weight loss and long-term
maintenance require. First thing that I would do is try to evaluate what
worked and didn't work the past year since your surgery. Then, try to
address changing those issues that undermined your maximum weight loss--
was it not getting enough protein? consuming high amounts of carbohydrates?
were you grazing or eating on the run alot?
Remember that you have lost a significant amount of weight and that you can
take much pride in your success and the effort it took to sustain that
loss-- try to find motivation in appreciating that you are someone who has
taken an important first step in a lifelong journey and enjoyed some
success along the way.

RNY? Lapband? No info here. However, it is NEVER too late for losing
weight. Back to the basics. Talk to your nutritionist. Increase your
protein and water. Good luck and God Bless!

it's never to late to kick start your weightloss again. i think that
typically w/ r n y there is a period between about 12-18 months out when
you really start to slow on your weightloss or stop and you have to work
extra hard to get it going again. watch your water intake and protein &
exercise as m7ch as possible. I tried to look @ your profile but there is
no information avail. if you had lapband surgery, i would say your
weightloss is going at an excellent rate and would recommend going to see
your doctor for a fill perhaps.
