Hi Heather,
Not knowing what state you are in, it may differ from state to state. Call
your county Family services center and explain to them the situation. They
should be able to direct you to an agency or service that may be able to
assist you. You may also want to try the larger hospitals in your area.
They may offer a program to assist people with procedures at little to no
out-of-pocket expense to you. Good luck.

You can look up Vocational Training in your state and then see if they can
help in some way.

Hello Heather,
I would check and see if you are able to get Medicaid in what ever state
you are in. As different states have different rules to apply. You can also
check with a Gastric Dr. and see what type of plans he/she has to offer. I
know when I went to my very first meeting they had different companies to
apply to for a loan. I'm on state medicaid and all I had to do was [when
there was open enrollment] change to a company that would cover the surg. I
did all my prelim test and my documented 12 months of Dr visits for them
and all went very well.
I wish you luck!

Hello Heather,
Insurance wouldn't pay for mine so I went through CareCredit... They give
you a loan for it. Just an idea. Goodluck and keep up posted!
