Question:
Does anyone know of any support groups in the Seattle area?

I do not no of any support groups in Seattle , I am living in Port Angeles,WA 2 hours from seattle. I know there are none around here , I am having my surgery on July 31st open rny . I would like to find a group also,if you find any please let me know ~ thank you

There are several support groups in the Seattle area. There is a Yahoo Group called: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ossg-nw If you look in the files section there is a Word document that list where all the support groups are. I go to the one on the Second Thursday of the month at 7:00-9:00 at Stevens Hospital. There are several others around also. Hope this helps! Stacey

There are MANY in the area. Port Orchard, Puyallup, Tacoma, Bellevue, Kirkland--on & on. How close are you to what?

There is a new support group that has its first meeting this week. The meeting is on 81st and Fremont, downstairs at the church. Fremont is two blocks west of Aurora and is in north of Green Lake. The meeting is from 7 - 9 pm.
