Question:
Medicare - Has ayone had medicare disability pay for skin removal from a pastic surgeon.

Medicare paid for my BPD so I hope they will do the same for the plastic surgery. I already have medical problems due to my apron, even before my surgery. Just trying to get prepared. Thanks.    — sherri W. (posted on November 16, 2001)

Met someone last night who told me to go to any burn unit and tell them that you would like to donate your extra skin...they will gladly accept your extra skin to help others and pay for it:-)

To the previous poster: please write again after you actually have this done as many people here say that they will NOT do this. They prefer cadavar skin. I'd be anxious to hear what you find out.
