Question:
I'm having pain :( Any ideas why?

I'm 3months post, missed my 3month post op appointment and had to reschedule it for July 10. I've been doing amazingly well but today I'm having rather uncomfortable pain right around where the drain was pulled from. Now that is all closed up now. But the pain is like inside. Kinda like in the muscles. I took a couple tylenol but that's not helped yet. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas or has expereinced this :)    — Renee V. (posted on June 14, 2002)

I was having some pain also and the PA said it was due to muscles being cut during surgery and the "spreader" they used to keep the incision open while performing the surgery. It takes time for tissues to heal; so it's very important to wear the binder. My PA said the pain could last 3-4 months, but should lessen as time goes by. Hope this helps - Feel better soon :-)

Dear friend ,i am almost 4 month's post op and still have soarness all around i also had it in the same spot your talking about but it will get better i just think it is the healing process.but i would just let my doctor anyway just to see if he agree's with it just being the healing process. good luck.
