Question:
Anyone in Richmond VA?

I'm scheduled for lap surgery on 11/21/02 and would really like to meet/talk to someone in the Richmond, VA area. I live in Chesterfield and am really starting to get nervous. My pre-op is this Friday 11/8. My surgeon is Dr. Gary Harrington.    — valynn (posted on November 6, 2002)

Don't be nervous, you are in great hands with Dr Harrington. He did my lap surgery April 25th and I have lost 96 lbs. Never been happier. I live in King William and found Dr Harrington through a friend who had him do her surgery almost 2 years ago. He has the best bed-side manner and is so comforting. I have referred my friends to him he is so good. If you have come this far, I'm sure you are ready for a lifestyle change. The surgery was a snap, very little pain after and no stitches to be removed, everything was on the inside. Relax and enjoy the journey to the lighter side! Hi! I am in Richmond, although I had my surgery by Harrington's partner, Dr. Hutcher. I had mine 4/9/02 and as of today have lost 102 lbs. Look in the database for Michelle Wilson, she had the lap by Harrington, and is doing very well!!! Email her, I am sure she would love to share her experiences. Wishing you well!! Nancy

Hey sweetie- I too live in Chesterfield and had LAP RNY Oct. 2nd -28 lbs. by Dr. Martin whose a partner at Commonwealth surgeons. I'd be happy to meet/talk with you if you'd like. Just let me know.
