Question:
Pouch size at 5 months post op?

I am 5 months and 2 days post op. I was really wondering about the size of my pouch so I did the cottage cheese test first thing this morning. I ate three ounces of cottage in about 3-4 minutes. This made me extremely full. First of all did I do it right? Second, is this about the right amount for 5 months out?    — tulagirl (posted on December 24, 2002)

hi ther :) pouch size depends on surgeon. everyone is different. ive never doen the cottage cheese test yet, but from what ive read, you are suppose to eat it till full so id say thats pretty acurate. best of luck to you. :)

Hi Tammi, You did the test fine by what I read, I'm thinking of going to the store and doing the cottage cheese test tonight to see how big my pouch is, I'm 7 months post op wish me luck, I'll be back to post with the size... Smile ! Post op 7 months and down 103 pounds (Still have 40 to goal)
