Question about abdominoplasty/panni & love handles

I have a friend that has lost over 200 lbs and is almost ready for her panni/abdominoplasty. She was asking me if I've seen any information on love handles or "back fat"/excess skin. I hadn't seen anything so I thought I would ask. In addition to the "tummy tuck", do they pull from the back, therefore removing the excess folds of skin? And what about the love handles? I've recently had several consultations on this subject. The surgeon I'm leaning toward working with told me that along with the abdominoplasty, he'd perform lipo on my back and sides to make sure I'm more evenly proportioned. The abdominoplasty <I>might</I> be covered by insurance (still collecting everything they need to have to make that determination), but the lipo almost invariably is not.

Chances are she'll need more than one surgery. They usually do it in sections: Panni or Abdominoplasty, butt & thigh lift, breast lift/reduction, brachioplasty, neck lift.
