Question:
Estimate-brachioplasty, mastopexy and thorocoplasty.

I just got my estimate on Friday for my Brachioplasty and Mastopexy. They included implants on the estimate which I really don't want unless I'm going to be a B cup or less. They had with the brachiplasty line, the term thorocoplasty. I googled that term and it has to do with a rib hump. I remember when I asked why the tummy tuck didn't take care of my excess rib skin, he replied I had a long rib cage. I had the anchor line incision TT. Have any of you had this thorocoplasty and how did it do for you? I'm going to call the office to make sure that is what it's for, but wanted to ask if any of you have had this procedure.    — Tparker (posted on July 25, 2005)

Hi. I think a better work for it is "torsoplasty" at least that is what is used at the meetings. This refers to those folds of skin right beneath the armpit and off to the side of the breast. They are hard to get rid of and may not go away with just a tummy tuck.
