Question:
questions about reconstrutive surgery please help !

I have already submitted with my insurance (UHC)for hernia repair, and abdimoplasty ( im still waiting for an answer) and my question is can you resubmitt other work to be done such as a thigh lift and a butt lift or is it too late?? No its not too late; in fact MOST plastic surgeons do not do ALL your work at the same time. He might do the hernia/tt then later do the other stuff. You can submit/get approved piece meal...

I had seen two surgeons. The first one submitted one set of procedures to my insurer, and the second submitted a different set. The insurance company looked at all of it, and approved parts of it, and denied other parts, but they did consider all of the procedures that were submitted by the two surgeons separately. So, I don't see why you can't add on after the initial submission. Best wishes for getting coverage.
