hi Philip, Im so sorry about the denial. I also am on medicare and waiting for approval. did the hmo deny or medicare? My doc accepts medicare, but said the problem is the other insurances. I may have to pay 10% of the cost of the surgery. I haven't heard that medicare has changed covered proceedures, have you called the medicare coordinator? I sure hope you get this streightened out.
