Valerie, congratulations on your upcoming surgery. May you be blessed with an easy surgery and a rapid, painless recovery. Remember to drink your water, take your vitamins, walk daily and most importantly, be kind to yourself along the way. (p.s. Our bodies can only absorb about 30grs of protein at once so if you do buy the high protein drinks, spread them out during your day)

Valerie, best wishes for your upcoming surgery. I had mine in November 2000, and I have never had a single regret. One thing that may help to remember is that the nervousness is over with when you wake up in the recovery room to your new life.
