Obesity & Me

Got a message in my E-mail from a friend.

Describe your experience with getting insurance approval for surgery. What advice, if any, do you have for other people in this stage?

HMO are terrible and they only treat you as if you are a number, non-sensitive. Doctors, Nurses and dieticians not well informed and need to read this site. (Kaiser Vallejo, CA)

After reading the posting of this site for six months I was quite aware of what she had to say and was not in the dark. Was much like the experiences of most.
