It's great to hear compliments about my surgeon from other medical professionals who all tell me they are impressed with the tests and preparations Dr. Spaw requires.rnrnI have every confidence that he is doing every thing possible to ensure we have the best outcome to my surgery.rnrnI am grateful to him.

Dr. Spaw is a very concerned doctor. Before and after surgery he put forth every effort to put me at ease and he answered all my questions. The office staff was very respectful and nice. I was told about all of the risks ahead of time. I did have complications. I had bleeding and had to go back in and have a hematoma removed. My doctor, even though it wasn't his fault, was very apologetic and concerned, and tried his best to put me at ease. Overall, it was a very emotional experience, but I am now nearly three weeks out and I feel great.

Dr. Spaw genuinely cares about his patients. He has a very gentle manner and never fails to take all the time needed to address whatever you need to talk about. I originally chose him based on his qualifications and expertise but I'm happy to say that his personality rates an A+!

I met DR Spaw for the first time on April 2, 2008 after completing my 6 months required visits to my PCP, Mental testing. He was full of information about my procedure and all the pros/cons I might experience after having my D/S procedure. His staff was very knowledgable in every question I had and gave wonderful information to keep me updated in anything I needed to know. DR Spaw is the DR you need to go to for your D/S and I am glad he is here in Nashville, Tennessee. I already have post-surgical appointments and prescriptions for after I have my surgery in May 2008. DR Spaw went over all the risks and made sure I knew what I was getting into. He was impressed with all the research I had done for this. Before even having my surgery, he is very mannered and professional in his demeanor.

When I first met Dr. Spaw, I knew right away he was the surgeon for me. He is compassionate, knowledgeable and Christian man. The more I get to know this fine surgeon, the more admiration I have for him. The office staff at Dr. Spaw’s office is friendly and competent. They are always willing to go above and beyond the call of duty. rnDr. Spaw does expect you to be a responsible adult and follow the post op guidelines and do the proper follow up care. I was well aware of the risk of surgery before I entered the operating room. It is not only Dr. Spaw’s responsibility but mine, too, to do the proper research of all possibilities of this surgery. rnI love Dr. Spaw’s knowledge, experience and bedside manners. He is a surgeon I would recommend to anyone. rn

I feel that Dr. Spaw is a very good doctor. I think that he really cares about his patients. The day after my surgery my phone rung at home and it was Dr. Spaw himself calling to check on me. This really impressed me that a dr would call themself to check. Most of the Doctors I have worked for just have the staff to follow up with the patient post op. Speaking of the staff when you call Dr. Spaw's office or go in for a visit everyone is so nice and willing to help in any way possible. I really like this. When I meet Dr. Spaw for the 1st time I started to cry at the office just because of the stress and everything from the weight that I faced in everyday life. Dr. Spaw was so nice and he told me that this was something to pray about and let God lead me in the right direction. I really liked the fact that he was not afraid to mention God in his office. This really impressed me. Along with how nice he was. I was told to go to him by a friend because he was such a nice person and had such a great bedside manner but I had no ideal how nice he was until I went to see him preop. Also, the feeling of concern for me has not left.

Dr. Spaw was a very informative and really understanding surgeon. I could tell that he truly cared about his patients, you were not just someone for him to do the surgery on, he is the type of person that truly cares about the success about his patients. His staff is equally as caring and giving, I have recieved nothing but the best care before, during, and since I have had the surgery. I feel that God sent me to Dr. Spaw and his staff for a reason, because they are the exact fit for me and my family. I would reccomend them to anyone that is considering this surgery. It took me five years to decide and during that five years surgeons were researched, I am so grateful that Dr. Spaw was where I was lead, because I believe that he and his team will be a great reason for my SUCCESS!!!

Dr. Spaw and his staff has been wonerful. Dr. Spaw has personally called and checked on me twice since my surgery. I would reccomend him to anyone.

Dr.Spaw and staff seem very nice and seem to take great intrest in you and take time with you. I was reffered by my regular Dr. about Dr.Spaw and staff.rnHe seems to have a very nice bedside mannor and seems to be very concered about you as a person. So far I am pleased with him and his staff.
