Dr Ramshaw was very nice and informative. He did not seem in a hurry and was very personable. He appologized for my wait time and answered all the questions that I had.
The office staff is another story though. They are not very responsive and seemed to be overwhelmed with work. They are in no hurry to get you through the process. Debra is always very nice on the two occassion that I have gotten to talk to her but I have been trying to get scheduled since my June appt and finally have a second appt on October 3rd.

Dr. Ramshaw was very informitive and listened to my concerns. He has great "bedside" manners. The office staff at Emory is wonderful, and I LOVE Debora, she ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!

DR. RAMSHAW TOOK OVER AN HOUR ON OUR FIRST MEETIN ANSWERIN QUESTION MY HUSBAND AND I HAD. HE MOVED TO EMORY AND HAS A VERY GOOD SUPPORTIVE STAFF.
SOMETIMES HE IS RUNNING LATE AND YOU MAY HAVE AN HOUR OR SO WAIT TO SEE HIM. HE IS VERY THROURAL.
DR RAMSHAW HAS A STRUCTURED AFTERCARE PROGRAM. HE HAS BEEN CAREFULL TO INFORM ABOUT POSSIBLE RISK OF THE SURGERY.
I HAVE BEEN HAVING SO DIFFICULITY WITH NAUSA AND SWOLLING. HE HAS ORDER SO MORE TEST. NOW I HAVE TO WAIT FOR INSURANCE APPROVAL.
ON THE SCALE OF ONE TO TEN I WOULD RATE DR. RAMSHAW AN EIGHT.
SURGICAL COMPETENCE AND BEDSIDE MANNER IS GREAT. THOUGH I ONLY SAW HIM ONCE AFTER MY SURGERY IN THE HOSPITAL.

First consult 4/10/02 - Dr. Ramshaw was very pleasant, attentive, answered my questions, and surprisingly, apologized for being late. He's been on staff at Emory University Hospital since 1/02. Office staff was very nice, but the wait to get in to see him that day was very long.

I had confirmation from my insurance company that they would cover this surgery for me before I had my first surgical consult, but Emory has to submit the paperwork and get another approval. I had my psych consult on 4/17 and was approved. Now waiting on official notification from insurance company so we can proceed to 2nd consult with physician, class with dietician, and the required physical tests. Hoping to have surgery in last July.

I have not yet seen Dr. Ramshaw, however i have delt with some of the office staff. They are all absolutely wonderful and personable. Always ready to help.

I met with Dr. Ramshaw on Wednesday (March 20) He is (from what time i saw him) wonderful, easy to talk to. His office staff was wonderful as well. There was a slight problem when i arrived they had that the Guardian insurance was not effective until May 1st however i had spoken with the Ins. company just several days prior to the visit and everything was a go. Therefore the office staff (Ms. Barbara, Thank you for your time) called and got everything situated.

Dr. Ramshaw is truly the most compassionate, genuine, sincere, and humble physician I have ever met. We met three years ago when I had to have my spleen removed and am grateful to God for leading me to this extremely gifted surgeon.
