Seems nice and was very professional.

He is a little quiet, but seems to warm up a bit after you see him more than once.

I have only seen him a few times since my initial consult. He is very nice and answers all of my questions. Dr. Batay-Csorba is a very patient doctor and has never made me feel rushed and makes sure I have no other questions before he leaves. He seems to be genuinely concerned about my health and success. I could not have chosen a better surgeon.

All of my surgeon's staff was very friendly and helpful. Alot of them have had this procedure so they have a lot of compassion for what you are going through.

Their is not anything that I do not like about him.

He is very adamant about following the aftercare program precisely. They give you a 3-ring binder with their aftercare program and sample menus and recipes. It has been extremely helpful.

Dr. Batay-Csorba went over all risks with me and made it clear that I have to change my eating lifestyle and this was only a tool to help in weightloss and not a cure-all.

I would definately rate him a 10+ (on a 1-10 scale) He is awesome.

I think surgical competence is better than bedside manners, but it is better to go through this with a surgeon that has both of these. Dr. Batay-Csorba has them both!

"I did have my Dr's consoltation. I was very impressed with Dr. Batay-Csorba's professional manner. I am truly dissappointed that the BTC is no longer affilliating with bc/bs, which makes it impossible for me to have the surgery.
I guess I will have to endure all my health problems for a longer period now, until I can find a reputable surgeron" Wish me luck! Or is there anyone else out there that is going thru the same situation and has any answers for me?

I was very impressed with Dr. Batay-Csorba, he let me know of all the risks and challenges of the surgery and I was very excited about having my surgery done by him. I am very disappointed that the surgery is not going to happen because of BTC's problem with the reimbursement reduction of BCBS benefits. I really wish I could have had my surgery and wish Dr. B-C could have been my surgeon. I had fought with the idea of having the surgery for over 1.5 years and finally decided it was the thing for me. Thank you Dr. Batay-Csorba for making me feel comfortable about having the surgery, answering my questions truthfully, and helping me to make the decision to have the surgery. Thank you BTC staff, expecially Debra Heier, for putting me at ease about having the surgery, you always answered my questions openly and honestly.

Hello everyone My first Impression of My Surgeon Dr. Batay was he was very caring!

He Has been very caring and he is awesome!

His office Staff at BTC is Wonderful!

There was nothing I didnt like about him!
He emphasize how important aftercare was alot!

He told me all the risks of surgery and made me understand them.

It the rating scale was from 1-10 and 10 being the highest give him a 10

My wife and I thought Dr. B-C, as his office staff calls him, was warm but professional, very matter-of-fact with what would happen during and after the surgery, and the risks involved.

During the testing phase, the psychologist found I should be taking some antidepressants to get me "geared up" (or down, I guess) for the surgery. All pre tests were very extensive and expensive! He is very thorough, I'll give him that.

As someone who would not take a blood transfusion, I'm very pleased with his surgical skills. We'll find out, hopefully soon, how good of a surgery he does on me!

I did think that the person who took my "stats" at Forest Park Health Center, where they do the surgery, could have been a little more skillful. For some reason, they didn't use a big enough blood pressure cuff, so they had to take my blood pressure on my lower arm, and that is NOT as accurate as higher up, this is my family Dr. and my own opinion.

My surgeon will be Dr. Batay-Csorba. When I went for my consult, I thought he was very nice. He answered all of my questions and took as much time as I needed to understand everything that will happen.

My first impression of Dr. Batay was that he would be very brief with me because he had other people waiting to see him, but he was just the opposite. Dr. Batay spent so much time with me and spent so much time explaining everything that I needed to know about the surgery, that one would have thought that I was the only patient that he had that day. The staff was wonderful and seemed to be very concerned and supportive of me. I was very pleased with him. He was very frank, and honest and you will leave his office satisfied with the information that he gave. Dr. Batay emphasized a great deal about aftercare and how important it is that follow the aftercare program exactly the way that I am told to or else I would have some complications.

My first impression of Dr. Batay Csorba is that he is very professional. I appreciated his directness to the few questions that I had and I very confident in Dr. Batay Csorba.
I truly enjoyed the office staff they were very friendly but yet professional.

I was very impressed with him. He is a serious man, seems to have alot of confidence in what he is doing. This a very serious step I am taking in life so I would rather have a serious doctor.
