I am now two weeks out from surgery and all I can say is that my surgeon is a saint. I love this man, and his nurse. They are wonderful and I would recommend to EVERYONE!

Have had two appts with Dr. McDevitt and surgery is scheduled. I am very confident with his abilities and knowledge. I can tell that he is very thorough.

I like Dr. McDevitt so far. Have been to two informational meetings run by him and he seems very actively involved in his patients care and recovery.

My first impression of Dr. McDevitt was he seem very comfort with his skill. He put me a ease the first support group class. I just knew that the lap band was the correct way for me to go and I had choosen the right surgeon.rnHis staff is very much down to earth type and make you feel important and not just another fat person.rnrnThey need to know that he and his staff are there for us.rnrnDr McDevitt stress the aftercare, excerise and support group all the time as the most important from the begining and at every appointmnet and meeting. Yes a very structured aftercare program. rnrnThere is always risk to any surgery, but this is mention several times and he will dorn one one talking to you about any thing.rnrnI would rate him in the top 5 of this type of surgery.

Dr McDevitt, is a wonderful Dr. I am so very happy that I decided to go with him from the very start, I just about went and did another program, and im just so happy that I didnt. He gives you those sort of speeches that make you feel good when you leave his office, at the same time, letting you know how much of a serious operation and life changing thing it is to have this surgery. He is very laid back, easy to talk to and he is always smiling!! Extremely happy that I have Dr that I know I can talk to if I have to!! So anyone in the area that is looking into having the surgery. Look him up! Him and his whole staff is wonderful!!

My first impression of Dr. McDevitt was a very positive one. At the meetings he was very informative and very open for questions. He made the time to ensure all questions were answered. As time has gone on my impression has only gotten better. He goes far beyond what the average surgeon does. He is so much more personable and makes you feel very comfortable. His office staff are the best. They are all very friendly and they go out of their way to ensure you are taken care of. There is nothing negative that I could possibly think of at this moment. I will update once I have more interaction and after the surgery. All I can say now is... He is a great surgeon and I could not have chose anyone who could make me any happier.

My first impression was a great one - he is an amazing Doctor who truly cares. The staff is top notch and there is absolutely no complaint from me about any single thing - everything went and is going as smooth as I could have dreamed. My doctor prepared me not only for surgery - but for life after it. The support group is phenomenal - Dr. McDevitt and his entire staff make you feel like family. I absolutely love my Dr.

What can I say about my doc that hasn't already been said? This man is a Godsend. He not only wants to see you succeed he demands it. His motto is that he gives us 2 yrs max to start a new lifestyle and I am greatful for those 2 yrs.

Dr. McDevitt has the best bedside manner of any doctor I have seen. He does not believe in sugar-coating anything for you. He is very forth-coming with risks and complications hes seen (which I think are only 3 in all the procedures he has done and 2 of those were because of pre-existing conditions the patients had prior to surgery). I love his staff also, his nurse Cathy and the coordinator of the program, Joyce. Both are very pleasant and eagar to help you in any way they can. Dr. McDevitt and his team come VERY HIGHLY recommended from me!

Dr. McDevitt was just wonderful. He did an excellent job with the surgery. He came by every day and offered encouragement and support and you could tell by looking at him that he was very excited for me. His aftercare program and the support group that has been established to help us out is just wonderful. You couldn't ask for a better surgeon. Wonderful bedside manner.

I could not have wished for a better dr. No matter what the situation, Dr. McDevitt made me feel completely at ease. The staff that he employs will help you with whatever situation you are having and are easy to get in touch with. Before surgery, I was informed of all of the risk and then I had to sign a form and tell them what the risk were. This was to insure that I understood what I was doing. After surgery, Joyce came daily to see me and would get on to me if I was not walking. This was what I needed and appreciated the fact that she cared. Dr. McDevitt was thorough and encouraging. He wanted me to walk, walk, walk. Because of the experience that I have had with him I would do it again and know that I was with one of the best.
